Experienced Sales Manager – Food Ingredients, Lagos Nigeria.
As our new Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing the Palsgaard business in the French speaking West African countries.

Palsgaard is a global full-service emulsifier and stabiliser company, creating sustainably produced ingredients with specialised performance characteristics for over a century. Palsgaard Nigeria was established 4 years ago and oversee the business in Nigeria and all the countries in West Africa. We have an office and warehouse in Lagos, and you will in the beginning work remotely while not traveling to meet customers.
As our new Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing the Palsgaard business in the French speaking West African countries. You will also support activities in Nigeria when not travelling. Your base will be in Lagos reporting to the Country Manager of Palsgaard Nigeria, Tijani Abass.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities to achieve annual sales target.
- Market research
- Visit existing clients to build strong client / supplier relationships.
- Manage and grow existing customer base.
- CRM duties for existing and new customers.
- Issue weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner.
What do you need to apply?
- Proficient in both English and French.
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in Food Science & Technology or any other science or engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales position in a similar role. Experience in sales of processed food is acceptable.
- Strong desire to succeed, outgoing, and service minded.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to plan ahead.
- A proven track record of sales excellence.
- Ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and international passport and willingness to travel as often as the job requires.
- Computer literate.
