Senior Application IT Manager

We are looking for a Senior IT Application Manager to take ownership of the global application landscape centred around Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO). The position is based at our headquarters in Juelsminde, Denmark, and offers a unique opportunity to influence how IT supports a growing international business.

Senior IT Application Manager with Global Responsibility and Strong Business Focus

As Senior IT Application Manager, you will take on a central role in Palsgaard’s ongoing ERP transformation, where local systems are being replaced by a global D365FO platform. You will be responsible for ensuring a scalable, well-governed, and business-aligned application landscape that supports global operations and future growth.

The role combines architecture, project coordination, and operational responsibility. You will act as a key link between IT and the business, working closely with global stakeholders, process owners, and external partners to ensure that systems support business needs effectively.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Defining and maintaining the enterprise application architecture with a focus on D365FO and integrated systems

• Driving and coordinating cross-functional IT application projects

• Ensuring proper governance, system ownership, and decision processes

• Planning and coordinating system releases, upgrades, and continuous improvements

• Supporting the global ERP rollout from a coordination and advisory perspective

• Ensuring alignment between IT solutions and business processes across the organisation
  

Business-oriented IT Professional with Strong Stakeholder Skills

We are looking for a business-oriented IT professional who thrives in a role combining strategic responsibility with hands-on involvement. You bring strong experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, along with a solid understanding of business processes and how IT supports them, ideally gained in an international environment within the process, production or manufacturing industry.

You are comfortable working across organisational boundaries and managing stakeholders at different levels. You combine structure and analytical thinking with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset and can translate complex requirements into effective IT solutions. You are motivated by ownership and impact and enjoy working in an environment where collaboration, continuous improvement, and business understanding are key.
