In this role, you will work across a focused portfolio of BI, data platform, integration, and business-critical application technologies, including:
· Our central data platform, which consolidates business data for reporting, analytics, and integrations between applications.
· Power BI, Fabric, semantic models, and Microsoft Copilot, helping strengthen reporting, AI adoption, and value creation across the organization.
· Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) and related integrations.
· Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM), Work Point, and other business applications that support our global processes.
Our solutions are largely cloud-based and built on Microsoft Azure technologies. Your responsibilities will include:
· Develop, maintain, and further modernize our central data warehouse/data platform, including data ingestion, transformation, data modelling, and preparation of reliable data for reporting and analytics.
· Develop Power BI reports from our backlog in close collaboration with global business stakeholders and the BI team, ensuring high-quality, scalable data models and clear analytical storytelling.
· Contribute to improving how Palsgaard uses AI across the organization and how AI can support the development, documentation, automation, and quality of BI solutions created by the team.
· Support daily operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of BI, data platform, and integration solutions.
· Develop an understanding of Palsgaard’s broader IT application landscape and contribute to projects across global IT.
What we are looking for:
You bring a strong existing skill set, a relevant educational background, and solid hands-on experience within BI, data engineering, ETL processes, data warehousing/data platforms, and data modelling. You have the technical foundation to contribute actively from the start, while also bringing the curiosity and ambition needed to understand our business processes and help raise the capability, quality, and performance of our Global BI and Data Platform team.
Ideally, you bring a combination of:
· A strong existing skill set within BI, ETL, data warehousing/data platforms, and semantic data modelling, supported by solid hands-on experience.
· A good understanding of Microsoft-based technologies, preferably including Azure-based data warehouse development, Power BI/Fabric and Microsoft Dynamics AX or Finance and Operations (D365F&O).
· The ability to understand existing business processes and translate business needs into sustainable data and application solutions.
· An interest in working where business processes, technology, and data meet, combined with curiosity about new digital opportunities.
· Experience with AI tools, combined with an understanding of relevant use cases and governance considerations, will be considered an advantage.
Who are you?
We are looking for a colleague who:
· Has an outgoing and collaborative mindset, builds trust easily, and works effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
· Is a self-starter, takes ownership, works in a structured and pragmatic way with an eye for the detail, and follows initiatives through from idea to implementation.
· Is motivated to contribute to the future roadmap for how data, BI, and AI are used across Palsgaard.
· Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships across functions and locations in a global organization.
